Issue:
When the Table of contents is updated, a rogue "Table" or image is shown.
Why?
Table of Contents are updated via a "Style" applied to a Header or section. This is standard functionality in Word.
If a table is showing up in the ToC, it has an incorrect style applied to the image.
How to Correct?
- In the ToC, CTRL+Click the offending image to be navigated directly to the table/image.
- Select the image and apply the Normal style from the styles utility in the Home Ribbon in Word.
- Click on the ReferencesRibbon and then choose "Update Table".
a. b. Choose: Update Entire Table and click OK. c.
