Comparable Rent Summary Table
The first table provides a summary for the comparable properties such as Name, Year Built, Condition, No. of Buildings, No. of Units, etc. These categories can be changed by selecting database field name in the drop-down in the header column, similar to other tables in the template.
Note: You can hide any unnecessary columns, however, as the summary table is stacked with the detail tables, do not hide any columns that are necessary. The data can be refreshed from the database by clicking the Synchronize Database button. |
Comparable Rent Unit Tables (Unit Types 1 through 15)
The remaining tables (Unit Type 1) detail rent information for each unit type. Again, the data displayed in these tables can be changed by selecting different database fields.
To use the Unit Types tables: First, note the Subject unit type. In this example, the table subject is a 1 BR unit type. Then, note the Choose Comp Unit Type; for each row, click the cell drop-down and select the unit type that corresponds with the table's unit type.
Because the Subject unit type is 1 BR, you should select 2 BR for every row that the option is available.
If in the second Unit Type table the unit type is 2 BR, you would repeat the same steps so that Choose Comp Unit Type is 2 BR. If 2 BR wasn't available from the drop-down, then you could skip that row.
When you no longer have any options for the table unit type, you have reached the end of this process.
The information from the Unit Type drop-downs is filtered in from the Multi-Family Inventory Table.
