Bridge Loan

A short term loan that is taken out pending arrangement of longer term, or permanent financing. Bridge loans typically have higher associated interest rates to compensate for additional risk.

Bridge Loan in CashFlow:

Click Capitalization in the left navigation.
Toggle from All Cash to Loans.
Click +Add Loans.
In the Loan Details section:  Enter a Name For Type, select Bridge/Construction Enter a value in the Term field(s)
In the Uses of Funds section:  Enter a value in the Duration field. Toggle the other Uses of Funds fields on/off as appropriate.
In the Sizing section, toggle the fields on/off as appropriate. Note that toggling any of the fields on will expose an additional manual-entry field beneath the toggle switch.
