The Ad Hoc Report Management page includes several important features.
a. Personal Reports: The Personal Reports tab lists the dashboards, reports and folders that belong only to the logged-in user. The user has the following capabilities with Reports in the Personal Reports tab: Rename, Edit, Delete, Copy, Move, Schedule for all Reports. The logged in user may also run Reports.
b. Shared Reports: Shared Reports contains any Reports shared with the entire organization. The user has the following capabilities with Reports in the Shared Reports tab: Rename, Edit, Delete, Copy, Move, Schedule for Reports you created. Copy and Schedule are only for Reports the logged in user did not create. The user may also run shared Reports.
c. Global Reports: Example Reports serve as templates; they are available to all users with Ad Hoc Reporting enabled. Users can copy or run any Report in this folder.
a. New Report: Click the New Report button to begin the Report creation process.
b. New Dashboard: Click to begin the Dashboard creation process. In Ad Hoc Reporting, a Dashboard is a collection of panels that can be rearranged and customized to display collections of Reports, such as frequently viewed Reports or recently viewed Reports.
c. New Folder: Click to begin the Folder creation process. Folders help organize Reports and Dashboards.
The Report Management Page also contains an instructional video and link to online Help from Logi (the third party provider of the RIMS Ad Hoc Reporting functionality). Both are useful resources.
