Job Comments

The Job Comments button is next on the Job Summary toolbar.
Click the Job Comments button to add a Comment and to see any Comments associated with the currently-selected Job. Note that Job Comments are not seen by Account Officers and are typically considered “back room” conversation.
The example above contains two Comments. One of the Comments has two files attached.
Click the Add Comment button in the upper right-hand corner to open the New Comment window.
- Comments: Enter comment text here.
- Click to view comments without HTML tags: To remove any HTML tags, such as those carried over when copying and pasting from a webpage, click this button. It will remove everything but the plain text.
- Select file: Upload one or more files to attach to the Job Comment. Click this button to open a new window.
Click Save and Clean once all changes have been made to add the Comment.
To edit a Comment, click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the screen.
The Edit Comment window will open.
- Edit the Comment text here.
- Remove the HTML tags from the text above.
- The original creation date and the most recent modification are listed here, along with the individual who made the change.
- Click on the X next to an attachment to remove that file from the Comment.
- Enter or modify an attachment description.
- Once all changes have been made, click Save and Clean to save changes and close the Edit Comment window.
To delete a Comment, click on the trashcan icon.
