Template Library

Template Library Overview

The Template Library is a repository of LightBox-branded templates you can use with your projects. 

A LightBox set of templates is provided to help jump start your data visualization journey. You can create your own ad-hoc templates and adjust the downloaded templates to suit your needs.

Accessing the LightBox Excel Add-in Template Library

Click Template Library to open the task pane.

In the example above, the Analyze category is expanded. 

Templates are categorized by purpose: 

• Analyze

• Digitize

• Summarize

Click a template category to expose the template(s) it contains. 

Enter a search phrase in the search bar to filter the templates by that phrase.

NOTE

The search bar is case sensitive.

Viewing and Downloading Templates

Click a template to view a description of the template.

A. Click Open in Excel to open a copy of the template in Excel. You will be required to save in Excel to retain a copy of the template on your computer.

B. Click the cloud icon to download a copy of the template.

C. Click the question mark icon to open the documentation in a browser tab.
