LightBox Excel Add-in Features and Functionality

Overview

Click on the LightBox button in the Excel ribbon. Upon successfully logging in, icons based on your subscription will be enabled. If the buttons in the ribbon are disabled (grayed out), click the Login button.

Features

The LightBox Excel Add-in ribbon is divided into four sections: 

• Data Import
• Tools
• Settings
• My Account

Data Import

The Data Import section of the ribbon contains two buttons: 

• Document Search: Search and insert data from your organization’s extracted documents. Subscription required.
• Refresh Data: Click to refresh the linked data types in the workbook. Synchronizes to the latest data available. Subscription required.

Tools

The Tools section of the ribbon contains two buttons: 

• Create JSON: Export appraisal/valuation data from the LightBox Valuation Data Capture Template to the LightBox structured data exchange JSON format. Best suited for vendors/appraisers utilizing the PARCEL platform.
• Template Library: Browse our catalogue of templates to provide a starting point for your project. Subscription required.

Settings

The Settings section of the ribbon contains one button: 

• Support: Chat with a support specialist, visit our support center, or provide feedback.

Account

The My Account section of the ribbon contains two buttons:

• Login: Securely log in to the LightBox Excel Add-in. Requires an OKTA account and subscription. Contact support with any login issues.
• Logout: Log out of the LightBox Excel Add-in.
