Notes:
Wells/JPMC has a tool that allows them to create however many roles they want however, that becomes hard to manage. There are currently 150 different roles. Onboarding usually doesn’t recommend.
On top of the system roles, banks will request VERSIONS of our default roles. We call these CUSTOM Roles.
Creating a new custom role from Lender User w/ Access to All Files would give the Lender User access to non-final reports
The Roles & Permissions admin tool has the Organization ID (EID) listed, not the Company ID (CID) as other tools within the Collateral360 admin tool
Known Custom Roles and their functions to the banks:
Bank of Hope
Daniel Park is "Security Admin" who can Add New Users, Remove Users, Edit Users.....but does NOT see any loan files on the Dashboard or any other settings, except platform management.
In this specific scenario, we need to create a second company because DASHBOARD (typically C360 FEATURES) settings are controlled at the company level, and not at the permissions level.
First National Bank of PA
FNB Account Officers
The permissions were changed so that these users do NOT have access to Notepad and do NOT have permission to create a Portfolio SRF, and they DO have permission to Create Invoice.
A 'File Access Rule' was created to show the Invoice Document to all FNB Account Officers (i.e. see the invoice they create).
Trupoint Bank
Gail Stiltner is a lender user w access to all files. Gail does not order appraisals but needs to view the expertise and coverage area.
How can we make that happen? She is a mortgage processor. She needs to know which markets an appraiser is serving. We updated Gail's role to include two new permissions. One allows her to see the vendor in Report Status once the bid has been awarded. The other allows Gail to view the vendors profile and see their coverage area, but does not allow her to change any information about the vendor. Those two permissions are as follows:
LENDER_VIEWVENDORINFO - This allows the user to see the vendor in the Report Status section once bid is awarded.
VENDOR_MGMT_DETAILS_VIEW - this allows to view vendors profile, but does not allow to make any changes.
