Data Tree / First American

First American DataTree LLC is a national provider of property data and document images to mortgage and real estate-related businesses. With a repository of more than 6 billion document images, DataTree delivers the data, property reports and document images that help bring clarity and insight to business decisions.

You will see this referred to as either version across the company (Data Tree or First American).

The following legacy companies utilize this vendor for the following products:

• DMP: Tax Map & Documents

• EDR: Tax Map, Lien Searches, Collateral360

  • Tax map reports are fully automated, but any time there may be an issue with a completed report, it is usually handled by Jennifer Hildebrandt, and usually if something technical goes on with it, we will involve Matt Wilson.

  • Lien searches are done by either inhouse researchers or vendors. The work is completed via HRG Remote for researchers and the work is completed in PARCEL for vendors. Vendor Management works with the vendors.

  • C360:

If for whatever reason Data Tree/ First American 'goes down’ then we can expect all products above to be affected. If there are any other legacy products that utilize Data Tree as a service, I am not aware as of the date this article is written.
