This section describes how to submit a response to a Portfolio Request for Proposal (RFP) in PARCEL and how to review all RFP documentation, including project scope, deadlines, and property site details. Thorough review of the RFP and attached files is essential before submitting a bid
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the RFP from the New Requests Tab
After logging in, navigate to the New Requests tab in the PARCEL dashboard.Locate the portfolio RFP by reviewing the project name, location, or lender.
Click the Submit Bid button next to the corresponding RFP entry.
Review Collateral Information and Scope of Services
The bid screen will open, displaying key RFP details including:Collateral Information such as location and contact data
Scope of Services defining required deliverables
Bid Deadline by which your response must be submitted
Download Full RFP Packet (PDF)
Click the Full RFP Details (PDF) button to download a comprehensive RFP overview.This document includes project background, expectations, timeline, and required formats.
Download the RFP Locations File
Scroll to the bottom of the bid screen and locate the Reports, Data, and Research section.Click the blue document name to download the RFP Locations spreadsheet.
This file lists all property sites included in the portfolio.
Preview or Download Additional Attachments
If the RFP includes supporting documents (e.g., maps, images, lender templates):Click a document name to open it
Or select multiple documents and click Download Files
Complete Bid Entry Form
In the bid form, fill out all required fields:Primary Fee and any applicable Additional Fees
Signatory Name and estimated Turnaround Time
Delivery Date requirement
Select Yes or No for Prior Services
Enter any Additional Comments
Click Attach Files to include relevant documents, if needed
Submit or Decline the Bid
Once all required fields are complete:Click Submit Response to finalize your bid and send it to the lender
Or click Decline RFP if you choose not to participate
After submission, the RFP will move from New Requests to the Submitted tab.
Note: Once submitted, the bid is timestamped and visible to the lender. Make sure all values and attachments are correct before clicking Submit Response.
Best Practices
Review both the PDF packet and the RFP Locations spreadsheet thoroughly before filling out the bid form.
Double-check the bid deadline and turnaround estimates to avoid late delivery risks.
If submitting files, confirm correct document types and ensure they’re named according to lender instructions.
