    Overview

    Once you have reviewed a Request for Proposal (RFP), you may choose to respond with a bid or decline the opportunity. Bids are submitted through the RFP response form within the PARCEL platform. This form gathers your pricing, turnaround time, signature, and any disclosures or comments relevant to the assignment.


    Viewing RFP Details

    At the top of the RFP response page, you will first see a summary of the request, including:

    • Assignment Address

    • Report Type (e.g., Commercial Appraisal Report)

    • Number of Sites

    • Bids Due By and Report Due By dates

    • Requestor Information and Property Characteristics such as type, subtype, size, year built, and tenancy

    You can click the Download full RFP details (PDF) button in the upper right corner of the page to get a complete copy of the assignment specifications for your records or offline reference.


    Completing the RFP Response Form

    Fill out the required bid response information on the form located below the RFP summary. Fields with a red asterisk are required.

    Currency for All Bids

    Select the currency from the dropdown (e.g., USD).

    Primary Bid

    Enter your fee and turnaround time in business days.

    Add Additional Bid

    If applicable, submit alternative pricing or delivery scenarios.

    Signatory

    Select the user who will be signing the engagement letter, if required.

    Office Location

    Enter your office location if requested or required for compliance.

    Delivery Commitment

    Select whether your firm can meet the stated report delivery date.

    Prior Services Disclosure

    Indicate if you or your firm have worked on the subject property in the last three years, or if you are currently involved in its management or disposition.

    Additional Comments

    Include any context or conditions for your bid (e.g., site access limitations, assumptions).

    Attachments

    Drag and drop or browse to upload any files related to your bid.


    Submitting or Declining the Bid

    Once all fields are completed, you have two options:

    • Click Submit Response to send your bid to the lender.

    • Click Decline RFP if you do not wish to submit a bid for this opportunity. No further action is required if you decline.


    Accessing Additional RFP Files

    At the bottom of the page, under the Reports, Data and Research section, you may find supplemental documents provided by the lender. These could include site plans, property photos, previous appraisals, or other relevant files.

    To download documents:

    1. Check the box next to one or more documents in the list.

    2. Click the Download Files button.
