    After a project has been finalized or marked as complete, the lender may lock the file upload areas on the View Details page. This prevents further uploads of the final report, invoice, or supporting documentation. If you need to add or correct a file after the upload area is locked, you can request the lender to unlock it.

    When File Uploads Are Locked

    • The Final Report, Support Documentation, and Invoice(s) sections will be visually disabled.

    • A system message will appear indicating that file uploads are no longer available.

    • Manual upload buttons will be hidden or greyed out until unlocked.

    Step-by-Step: Request Unlock

    1. Open the View Details Page
          From the PARCEL dashboard:    

      • Click the All Projects or All Final Projects tab.

      • Locate the project and click View Details.


           

    2. Locate the Locked Upload Section
          Scroll down to any locked section (Final Report, Support Documentation, or Invoice).    

      • You’ll see a message like: “File Upload has been locked”.

    3. Click Request Upload Unlock
          In the locked section:    

      • Click the Request Upload Unlock button.

      • This sends a request to the lender asking them to temporarily reopen the upload capability.


           

    4. Wait for Lender Response
          After your request is submitted:    

      • You will be notified by email if the lender approves the unlock request.

      • Once unlocked, the section will return to normal functionality and allow file uploads again.

    Best Practices

    • Only request unlock access when you have a specific file correction or addition to make.

    • Use the Email Lender tool to explain why an upload is needed if your request is time-sensitive.

    • Finalize or re-finalize the project after completing any uploads allowed through the unlock.
