    Article summary

You can use PARCEL’s built-in email tool to communicate directly with the lender regarding a Portfolio RFP. This feature allows you to ask clarifying questions, confirm project details, or provide additional context—without leaving the platform.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Locate the RFP and open Email Communication
Navigate to the RFP in either the New Requests, Submitted, or All Projects tab.

      • Use column filters to search by project name, address, or request ID.

      • In the row of the RFP or project, click the email icon located next to the lender's name.

        • This opens the Send Email Communication modal window.

    2. Compose Your Message and Send Email
          In the email modal:

      • The To: field will be pre-filled with the lender’s email address.

      • Enter your question or message in the Comments: field.

      • Once you’ve written your message, Click the Send Email button to send it to the lender.

      • You’ll receive the lender’s response in your registered email inbox.

Tip: If your question relates to bid requirements or project scope, contact the lender before submitting your response. This ensures your bid is aligned with the lender’s expectations.

    Best Practices

    • Always use the PARCEL email tool for RFP-related communication—do not reply to system-generated emails.

    • Be concise and professional in your message. Include project references like Request ID or property address.

    • Monitor your email inbox for the lender’s reply and respond promptly if follow-up is required.
