Overview

PARCEL includes a built-in email communication tool that allows you to contact the lender directly within the platform. This tool is used for clarifying project details, submitting questions about the RFP, or confirming specific requirements. All correspondence is logged within the project, ensuring a secure and trackable history.

How to Send an Email to the Lender

Navigate to the View Details page for the relevant project.
Locate the Requestor field in the Request Information section.
Click the envelope icon next to the requestor’s name. A pop-up window titled Send Email Communication will appear.

Fill in the required fields in the form:

Field	Description
To:	Pre-filled with the lender's email address. You may add more recipients, separated by commas.
From:	Your email address as registered in your PARCEL user profile.
CC:	(Optional) Add colleagues or team members to copy on the message.
Subject:	Pre-filled with the project address. You may modify it for clarity.
Comments:	Type your message here. This text will be sent directly to the lender.

Click Send Email to deliver the message. A confirmation banner will appear once the email is successfully sent.

Email Best Practices

Be clear and concise. Provide context if referencing a specific section of the RFP.
Avoid including confidential information not relevant to the assignment.
Maintain professionalism — your email is part of the recorded assignment history.

All messages sent through the platform will be tracked within the project record, ensuring transparency and continuity for both parties.
