    Article summary

To view a map location based upon where LightBox Vision is being accessed on a computer or tablet, an icon is now available on the map which can be selected with a prompt provided to allow for geolocation access. This option is useful for clients who need to use LightBox Vision out on the field while they are evaluating areas of interest.

    Icon Location & Instructions

On the bottom right of the map near the + - icons for zooming in and out, there will be a target icon for selection. When this is chosen, a message will request browser location access and “Allow” must be selected to enable this. Once permission is given, the map will center itself to a view that looks over the user’s current location where their device is logged in to LightBox Vision.

Note: Choosing “Block” will not provide this permission and a prompt will appear to suggest the browser settings must be adjusted to allow access (read further below for steps to enable location based upon browser being utilized).
