LightBox Transactions API provides access to up to 30 years of historical property sales transactions for both Arms Length Transaction and non-arms length transactions.
Supported Counties
LightBox Historical Transactions are supported on ~2700 counties. For the counties that are not supported, ownership updates are applied when a new tax roll comes into our system.

- Return Transactions based on a LightBox Assessment ID.
- Return a single transaction based on a transaction ID.
- Return new transactions based on a county FIPS Code and a date definition.
Pro Tip
If you license our SmartFabric™ product and you need ownership changes more frequently than our delivery schedule you can use the FIPS/week endpoint to pull all new transactions on a weekly bases. Simply setup a routine that makes a call to each county and increment the week from the last week that you called. This endpoint will return up to 100 records and provides the means to page through the result to get all records within a county.

The FIPS / Week endpoint will allow you to define a input filter and only get those transaction types you are looking for.

LightBox ID
The LightBox identifier is a permanent and universal identifier for data that creates powerful connections to LightBox's property graph. It is critical to have an ID that is persistent, reliable and trusted. Historical transactions are property based and accessed using the LightBox Assessment ID.
