        While an address is great input to the LightBox Geocoder, not all properties have an address. Properties such as vacant land, agricultural, and new development are just a few types where an address is not always available. An alternative approach to identifying a property is using the APN (Assessor Parcel Number). 

        The LightBox APN Lookup service will take in an APN and alternately a county fips code and return reference objects pointing back to the parcel or the assessment record that the APN is related to.
