Thank you for your feedback
Our goal is to not only assign address information to the building, but place within the building on top of the suite that the address represents.
LightBox blends building footprint data with address information using a proprietary process. This process takes address information and merges those addresses with buildings in a relatively conservative manner.
Conservative Process
We prefer not to match an address to a building if there is a significant chance where we could be incorrect.
The address data that we merge in includes:
- Situs address from parcel data for every county
- Address point data from cities and counties
- Typically this is data that is constructed for e911 purposes or for a county need to map out every address - we have close to 2000 sources of this data
- Data that we license from HERE (www.HERE.com)
- USPS data
- Consumer list data
- Other data sources as we find them
