Article Summary

Q: How do we measure and validate accuracy?

A: There are various quality control measures that we take to reject certain data if it does not meet a certain quality standard. Due to our curation model we do not have a single accuracy standard for all of our data. Each dataset is unique.

Note:
Parcel and structure data throughout the nation is created by various methods by each authoritative source. Most are not sub foot accurate. As a result of this it is not recommended to use our data for engineering purposes (e.g. surveying, flying a drone around and avoiding buildings, etc).

Q: What tools can I use to load these data sets to my system?

A: There are many options that you can use to load data into your system and the tool that you use depends the data, the system the data is going into and other considerations.

Please see: ETL Options for some guidance on this topic. This is not a complete list if you have further questions please reach out to your LightBox point of contact so that we can provide guidance.

A: SmartFabric is projected using WGS84.
