    Census boundaries can help round out your mapping solution. Each of these endpoints support return a record by ID, geometry WKT, and a tile and bounding box endpoint. The LightBox census APIs allows you to easily add census boundaries to your mapping application, access to the underlying geometries for your analysis or include census data within your reports.

    A census tract is a geographic region defined for the purpose of taking a census. Census tracts represent the smallest territorial entity for which population data are available in many countries. In the United States, census tracts are subdivided into block groups and census blocks.

    • Tile / Bounding Box requests to support adding to your mapping application.
    • Return a record using a census tract ID.
    • Response contains the polygon represented as a WKT which can be used as client side objects, or to feed your analysis.
